TWO DECADES OF SPECTACLES
OPO was founded in 1996 by Ola Kunosson and Peo Stjernqvist. Their common background in the optics industry brought them together and the initials of their first names gave them the name of the company. Since its inception, OPO has gone from strength to strength. Today, with our head office, showrooms, and a design studio in Malmö's oldest industrial area, we have a turnover of approximately SEK 50 million per year - which corresponds to SEK 120 million at the consumer level. We are also one of the 2 percent of Sweden's companies with a AAA credit rating.

B2B & PRODUCTION
We reach large parts of the optics market, in addition to low-price stores, either through our own sellers and agents or through strong distributors. In total, we reach over 2,000 opticians in Scandinavia and we have agreements with many large and well-known optics chains.
We have most of our production in Asia. All of our contacts have extensive technical know-how, long experience in eyeglass production and are used to our high quality requirements. We have a dedicated quality control team in Asia.
A SUCCESSFULL COOPERATION
One of our licensed brands is WESC, which we have been working with since the fall of 2014. With roots in Swedish scate culture, successful WESC creates street fashion for urban kids of all ages. The eyewear collection is distributed throughout the world.
All models radiate the intellectual and laid-back street attitude that WESC has so successfully encapsuled. The first collection exceeded expectations and sold out completely in a couple of months.
