The pre-autumn collection from the Swedish brand KunoQvist is a colorful symphony of frames, inspired by the glamourous 70´s.
WE LOVE ACETATE TOO
In total we have created six frames for the timeless wearer who favors syle before trend. Our brand KunoQvist made us famous for our high-quality metal frames. Now we have stepped out of our comfort zone to show that we are just as talented in creating detailed art of acetate.
The decision was not hard to make since the wish came from our clients, and our designers clapped their hands. There are endless ways of playing with materials when you combine metal and acetate. The result is a pre-taste of the autumn collection that will also contain a number of combination frames.

THE '70s ARE BACK
“KunoQvist will always keep its core in creating broad collections of metal frames with a focus on durability, colors and details”. Explains Anna Mälstad, Creative Manager at OPO Scandinavia. “But acetate is a wonderful material to work with and it can provide unimaginable design benefits when you get to work with the mix of transparent and matte surfaces”.
GANNDUL is the most characteristic of the frames in this pre-autumn collection. A deep, almost square frame with thin metal temples and an acetate front in typical 70´s colors. See Ingrid in the pink variant of Ganndul here.
