Last Saturday we had Skånes finest visiting us, or at least a number of them. Our Swedish sellers Fredrik and Paula had invited some of our geographic closest clients to see the new collections, for discussions and a nice mingle/dinner.

We had a very nice afternoon and evening with this crowd. They were opticians from Malmö and nearby villages, gathered at OPO Scandinavia's head quarters and showroom this Saturday afternoon. The main point of the program was to see the January collections that will be in store January 2020, as well as a presentation on how the process of designing frames actually looks like. This was helt by our creative manager Anna Mälstad, supported by our designer Ibolya Vass. The frames for next year are not in stock yet, but we do have pretty accurate samples in house. 

 

 

Part two was a discussion on how we can work better together when it comes to marketing. How can we as a rather small player in this business and all the independent opticians work together to sell frames and glass to a growing and ever-changing audience in competition with the big chains?

 

The evening ended with a very nice dinner at a local restaurant. The camera was not allowed to join in...
