Martina is the new Business Development Manager at OPO

In 2022, OPO Scandinavia has grown and hired new team members! And now we're growing a little bit more. In October, Martina Blomén started as Business Development Manager and she brings many years of experience in the optical industry with her. The position is a new one and Martina will help OPO develop even more in the optical market. Let's hand over the floor to Martina, who will get to tell us a little more about herself.

I was 15 years old when I opened the door to the optical industry for the first time, little did I know then that this would be a place for me for pretty much my entire professional life. Before OPO, I worked at Synsam Group where I started as a salesperson as a teenager and have since worked in various roles within the company. I most recently come from the role of sales manager. Now, however, it is time for me to take on new challenges in the industry and I look forward to working with business development at OPO Scandinavia! What a fantastic company to have the chance to be a part of, and at the time of writing this I'm in the middle of the introduction and I'm really enjoying it.

Today I live in Skegrie, outside Trelleborg, together with Peter and our daughter Lisel, almost 1.5 years old. When I'm not working, we usually go on various excursion in Skåne, discover new places and enjoy our favourites. I am a real tinkerer and love to fix things at home, from smart solutions to interior design. Both me and my partner enjoy good food, where he prepares it with advantage when I have, let's say, certain challenges in the kitchen.

Now I am being introduced to OPO and I look forward to learning about the company. I hope we'll have the opportunity to see each other in the crowd!
