On June 30th, our marketing manager Lisa Loderus will work her last day here at OPO. We are in the process of recruiting a new colleague in the marketing department and would like to wish Lisa good luck with her new job at One Nordic. Here are some thoughts from Lisa before she leaves.

When I came to OPO in March 2017, they had just booked Viktoria Tolstoy as a model for KunoQvist. For the autumn photoshoot I decided on Lund's botanical gardens. Viktoria was magical in the pictures but you do not see a single green leaf in any picture, only the gray concrete wall behind.

It took a year to understand both the product, which is very small and ingenious and requires close-ups to look its best. It also took a year to understand the industry where we live in symbiosis with each other, suppliers, lens manufacturers and opticians. It took just as long to build up a functioning marketing department at OPO and create good collaborations both internally and externally with our customers. Now we have an almost frictionless flow in the office between our various departments, we have brought in Anna O as marketing coordinator and I and our creative director Anna M have created a wonderful, creative collaboration. OPO is make great progress.

Then, when everything is at its best, it's time for me to thank you for five fantastic years and leave this thriving company to move over to the electricity industry as marketing and communications manager at One Nordic.

It's not an easy choice, but I believe in constant development and change. So for both OPO and me, this is a good ending. Many thanks to all the nice colleagues, good customers and not least our fantastic CEO, Irena Färemo!
