OPO Scandinavia is the Swedish eyewear company, who’s brand KunoQvist has become one of Sweden´s bestsellers in the line of optics. Anna Mälstad, with her solid background in design and entrepreneurship, comes from the Swedish eyewear company Frameworks where she was head of design. She previously worked at Scandinavian Eyewear and Danish ProDesign.

Anna will be fully responsible for the products from OPO Scandinavia and the development of new collections.

With this recruitment, Irena Färemo, CEO of OPO Scandinavia, wants to increase the company's focus on design. Martin Clauson and Irene Toreheim are the current designers of OPO Scandinavia, but the design studio needs more manpower to be able to handle the increasing demand. Together, the three designers will have enough capacity to handle both the design of KunoQvist, WeSC, Kalevala, NPS and the young collection as well as to take on new brands.

Anna Mälstad's primary task will be to adapt a conceived design to the demands of the market and look into the future. What does the market want in two years?

Irena Färemo and OPO Scandinavia look very much forward to an exciting couple of years ahead, where the company will touch up their own expression as well as take on new challenges.
